Band Posters

Propaganda Poster

Typography Poster

Each poster represents a different musical group, with the challenge of using no more than three colors. I aimed to convey the rhythm and dynamics unique to each music style. Utilizing my own pencil sketches, I created graphic and expressive designs for the posters.

The poster features the word Peace depicted as flying rockets, colored red to symbolize danger and conflict. This represents how propaganda disguises violence as peace, causing pain and suffering. A young girl with a dove on her head represents innocent victims of false propaganda, her tears stained with blood and her bare shoulder symbolizing vulnerability. The imagery highlights the deceptive nature of propaganda, emphasizing the need for awareness and vigilance in times of conflict. I created this poster when the conflict arose between the Slavic peoples of Ukraine and Russia. Sadly, many of my friends fell victim to propaganda.

For the typography poster, I began by crafting a paper sculpture and taking several shots of it. Then, I carefully arranged the letters on the sculpture by hand and captured more photographs. The most successful image from this process became the basis for my final poster design.
